Simetek Works Oy expands its operations

Simetek Works Oy expanded its premises by 2,700m2 in 2014. “It was time to expand our premises as we wanted to offer even more comprehensive services to our customers, and our old premises weren’t large enough to do so,” explains Managing Director Kari Roivainen. “The new premises increase welding capacity and allow us to carry out large and heavy assemblies right to the end customer. We have already taken some of the new premises into use and the rest will be in used in production by the end of the year,” Roivanen adds.

Simetek Works Oy has also invested in machines. The largest is the TOS WNH 13.8 CNC-controlled broaching drill, which allows for the machining of large and heavy pieces. “The machine will be implemented in early 2015,” says Roivainen.
